Information About Ryton Festival

The Ryton Festival, based in the North East of England, is a charity run by volunteers from the local area. The Festival has been in existence for over 75 years and provides a platform for music and drama performers of all ages. There are varied classes including organ, choral speaking, singing and individual verse. The full variety can be seen in our syllabus.

The Festival is run each year over four weekends in late February and early March. It is held at a number of different venues in and around Ryton.

Adjudicators from around the UK visit the festival every year to judge the performers and provide advice and encouragement. The Festival culminates with a concert of Festival highlights and our Championship Classes.
